KSCR Reviews Droppin’ Bombs:

Cousin Dale’s newest record is an e.p. that contains 8 songs of varying types, except that this record is definitely more of a Punk record and less of a pop record like the previous one. On average the songs are shorter, and some of them veer very close to actual hardcore (like track 2, also track 4). However they have not lost their gift for writing catchy tunes. There are some very hook-filled songs here; tracks 1 & 8 in particular have excellent riffs and melodic hooks that stick in the brain after the song is over. Also lyrically the band is taking on more political subjects this time, including government inertia, global warming, and corporate America. But they haven’t stopped writing about lighter things too. The last two tracks end the record on a lighter tone, finishing up with an invitation to “the North Beach Party.” Check these tracks out.
